20th Annual Walk for SoJourner Truth House

2019 marks the 20th Anniversary of the Walk for Sojourner Truth House, and because of this milestone, this year’s Walk for STH will be a Color Walk! Proceeds support the mission of Sojourner Truth House to provide hope and help for homeless and at-risk women and their children and underserved citizens of Gary and Northwest Indiana. Sojourner Truth House, a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization, is a ministry of the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ.
- 8:00 am – Registration
- 9:00 am – Walk begins
- 9:30 Tours of STH begin
- 11:00 am – Walk Celebration Concludes
Invite friends, family and neighbors to join you in making a difference in your community! Forming a team is fun and makes it easier to raise funds! Set a goal and create your own personal fundraising page! Every individual walker raising $100 or more will receive an official 2018 Walk for STH T-shirt!
Please Note: There is no fee to register, but each walker is asked to raise at least $100. Ask family, friends, co-workers and businesses to support you!
